IV.PRELIMINARY ADJUSTMENTS

CAUTION:

All preliminary adjustments on all boards must be done with the car NOT
moving.

A. GVI Preliminary Adjustments


On the GVI board, Turn the LT (Linear time)pot fully counterclockwise.

CAUTION:

No other pots on the GVI board should be adjusted or be tampered with at this
point.

B DAR Preliminary Adjustments


(all clock reference adjustments must be made looking at the DAR board vertically, as it is
inserted in the card cage.) on the DAR board, Turn the following pots as indicated:

1.AU-Maximum Inspection Velocity Clamp:

Turn so the arrow is at 11 o'clock.

2.GL-Maximum Velocity Clamp when doors are open:

Turn so the arrow is at 11 o'clock.

3. FAULT-Maximum Velocity Clamp during DAR drivefault:

Turn so the arrow is at 11 o'clock.

Slowdown limit pots SL1 to SL4, depending on top speed of the elevator, must be
adjusted according to Table I (below).
